Tuolumne Senior Portraits with an amazing Sunset View in the Canyon

Senior sessions are some of the funnest sessions. We start by planning locations. This all really depends on where you want to go and what you love to do. You see, a senior session isn’t just about photos for the year book. It is about capturing you. Capturing what you love to do, and you who are as a person.

Once we figure out what you love then we plan the session around that.

For this session Bert is a fantastic baseball player. He also enjoys heading out into nature for great views and good sunsets. So we planned his session around that.

Senior Portraits in the Dugout at Summerville High school

We started with some awesome portraits in the dugout at Summerville High. After that we headed to town for some more causal photos. We wanted to get a variety of photos with a variety of locations so we chose 3 different spots.

Tuolumne Senior Portraits

Once the sun started to set we ended the session in the Tuolumne Canyon. We headed down the twisty road to find the perfect spot for some great senior portraits while watching the sun set.

This spot is one of my favorite spots in Tuolumne. It gives an amazing view, there is a variety of spots to take portraits, and man did Bert just nail it! I am pretty obsessed with the way these turned out!

If there is something I love shooting it is Sonora Senior Portraits. I absolutely love going to different locations that are meaningful to each Senior.

Sonora has always had such a special place in my heart. I was born and raised here, moved away for a few years and just realized there isn’t a place better than Sonora. The landscape is amazing. The people are kind and caring. There is just a sense of peace you feel when you are in the Mother Lode of California.
