A Bit About Me
Thank you so very much for stopping by and checking out my website. Here is a little about me, the girl behind the lens.
I am an accomplished photographer, adventurer, and creative. Photography is my true passion. I am a lifestyle photographer with an Artsy side specializing in natural light photography and striving to capture the natural beauty around me. My main goal is to be able to capture your memories through my lens showing their true beauty, and allowing you to have memories printed that will last a lifetime.
My business is based out of California and I am always up for an adventure to travel for an awesome session.
Some fun facts about me:
- Coffee just might be my best friend.
- Family is everything. I have 3 sisters and 7 nieces and 3 nephews
- I have changed my website more times than I am willing to admit.
- I hate having to add watermarks to my images.
- I have a landscape website where I sell my Fine Art Images and share my adventures.
- I also have a Youtube channel :)
- I have a Boston Terrier and her name is Yota (yes that is after the truck not the movie). She basically goes everywhere with me.
The Knot had a great article about photography styles. For me, I say I am a lifestyle photographer with an artsy side. Basically, I love to capture the moment, while also providing guidance to posing along with capturing some big beautiful landscape images.
Many photographers explain what their style is in one word; however, they do not explain it in detail. Here is a bit of detail:
“Lifestyle photography is photojournalism redefined. It’s candid, yet done so with some direction and styling — it has an approachable feel and a relaxed result. A good photographer will look for moments but also set the scene, says Zepeda”.
“Not all portraits have to be a couple in full frame looking at the camera,” says photographer Angelica Glass. “With Pinterest taking over weddings, it’s easy for things to look similar — when you can deliver unique and artistic moments that are only for that couple, it becomes very special.” Photography is not just about the photographer. A couple’s willingness to have fun and enjoy the moment can take a photo to the next level, Glass says.
