Brooke is a force to be reckoned with. She is sweet and passionate yet feisty and rambunctious. Willing to try anything new at least once, I didn't have to convince Brooke to let me take her portraits. As soon as I asked the answer was 'OK! That sounds fun'. I think she was more excited about getting to wear mascara than anything else :)
Let me tell you something, Brooke is a natural model. Anything I asked she did perfectly. I didn't have to change her pose at all. It was absolutely amazing. During the session, the sun was just right. We were able to get beautiful and fun shots.
I am always working on gaining knowledge in the photography field. Recently, I have been taking a few photography courses and something that resonated with me was explained by a famous wedding photographer Jasmine Star. She explained that with every photo shoot she is shooting with intention. It sounds like a no brainer, but to be able to shoot with certain words in mind truly helps me as a photographer get the exact pictures I want. While shooting, I want my client to have fun. I shoot with the intention of getting fun, natural, fresh, and editorial photos.
